Our Mission focuses on promoting healthy and safe behaviors within a culturally diverse community by continuing the efforts to prevent substance use, violence, school failures, and juvenile delinquency among youth.
The Gloucester Prevention Alliance (GPA) is seeking individuals interested in helping to prevent underage drinking, tobacco use, suicide, and drug use, reduction in teen pregnancy, violence, gangs, juvenile delinquency, bullying, and school failures.
Volunteer members will aid in reviewing programs, policies, practices & procedures related to youth services and encourage organizations or groups to assist. The GPA also fosters relationships between parents, youth, communities, schools, faith based organizations, civic groups, and the business community. The GPA is currently working on a new meeting schedule to accommodate our busy active community citizens and members.
